Hello,

As many of you may have noticed, the people of Albion tend to react with "BOOO HISS!" when monarchs with questionably morals approach them. Am I just mishearing the NPCs, or is their use of "Hisss!" rooted in some sort of lingual or historical phenomenon I have yet to hear about?

If neither of these scenarios are true...Are the people of Albion actually a sort of reptilian species, similar to humans, yet deceptively different? Their idea of sensible social and physical interaction seems absurd to us, but could the focus on physical closeness to the hero be a way for these reptilian freaks to make use of our body warmth, cold blooded creatures that they are?

Erm, anyway, their use of "hiss" always confused me, so it would be nice to know if I am the only one not getting it. (Assuming there's anything to get.)

...It's a standard negative response to things people don't like. I'd think it mainly started in showbusiness mainly for the dramatic saying of those two words together, where if people didn't like a performer/performance they'd yell "Boo, hiss!" It's the same for almost anything. People have been saying "boo, hiss" for a very long time. Have you just never heard anybody ever?

So that's what it was; thank you for explaining.

No, I've never heard it used before. None of the other people I know who've played Fable 3 knew either. *shrugs*

I have never heard this before either, thought it was a british thing, like the word "jammy", took me a bit to figure that one out.

Weird. I'd heard it since I was a tyke (American midwest).
