Ahead of the games Xbox 360 launch CD Projekt have had the trailers for the updated game coming thick and fast. Here is the latest...
The 360 version is being released a full year after the PC version (which sold 1.5million copies of the franchise in 2011) however the console version comes with these extras to make up for the gap...

Just to confirm also the Pc version will get all of the content the xbox one has for free in a new update :)

Looking forward to it and they have said there will be no hand holding or anything in the console version. As I dont own a machine to run it on PC im interested in the 360 version even more if it ends up a decent port.

It's a ruddy good game. You xbox players will be in for a treat, the Witcher is one of these RPGS that barley gives you any direction, not only that but all of the mechanics are great from combat to potion making.

So long as games give you a clear journal and way to find your way around im happy. Im also happy if games arent holding my hand but also like to know what it is im meant to be doing and not aimlessly roaming to find out. Im quite intrigued by the combat and im going to watch some trailers of it in a moment.

If you read the journal it will pay off. But don't always go the way it says, you will miss out on a lot of interesting stuff ;)

See that I dont mind but with games like Dragon Age for example I found that the mission information was vast but only some of it was useful and I was never sure where I was meant to be going. Was massively frustrating and the quest log seemed like a rather large clusterf*** of a system, I like systems like in Skyrim where I can plot my own courses on maps and have quest markers and such so I at least have an idea what direction im MEANT to be going.

You can't plot your own markers on Witcher 2 but its not hard to find your way around. So don't worry about that. The map is often in key areas and you are given a little bit of it to explore at key points, despite what it seems it is not open world, its more like DAO map style. Except for one thing, it works well.

That wasnt the main good thing as I rarely use that but its nice its there in Skyrim. Its mainly the picking active quests and a streamlined questlog I dont mind more linear experiences and dont mind its not open world so long as the narrative is good. Which they usually are because they can be more focused on events, always heard good things about the series and always wanted to try the games.
