The Witcher Remake on Way

In more good news for the 'Retro' gaming crowd, CD Projekt Reds The Witcher (2007) is getting a full remake in Unreal Engine 5 as announced by them and Fools Theory.

As someone who didnt get chance to play the original game in the trilogy I am very happy about this news.

The Witcher Remake goes open world

In a rather drastic change to the more linear structure of the original game, it seems that the upcoming remake of the original Witcher title will be open world.

Revealed in CD Projekt Group Q3 2022 Earnings Presentation it was described as a 'Story-Driven, single player, open world RPG'.
