The Wittle Doggy

So with your pet dog, do you think they'll keep the model exactly the same? Maybe morph along with you? From what I've seen in gameplay and interviews the dog looks exactly the same (which upsets me).
What are your opinions?

Re: The Wittle Doggy

I'd like to be able to choose my dog's breed. Or perhaps there could be some kind of dog customization like you can do with your character in Oblivion. I want my Fable dog to look like my actual dog. And perhaps a morphing dog wouldn't be so bad. Just as long as it doesn't screw him up too badly. He could morph based on the things he kills, just like your weapons.

Re: The Wittle Doggy

Well the way it was described last time the dog would turn into a hulking maniac if your character was evil when in actual fact it's fur went black and that was it.

I really don't care if I am honest the dog got super boring the only reason I revived it was so it could help me get stuff.

Re: The Wittle Doggy

Yea, the dog in Fable 2 did change along with your alignment, but in Fable 3, it'd be cool if there were other factors that determined what he looked like as well.

I'd also like the dog to be able to do more stuff, which I think we'll get. I didn't dislike the dog in Fable 2, though. His abilities may have been limited, but that's to be expected with a new feature.

Re: The Wittle Doggy

with the fact that touch will be involved, and more complex versions of praise and scold, i think the relationship with the dog could be affected quite alot, such as praising him too much could make him too much soft, but hating him alot could make him run away.

and perhaps followers will affect him aswell, (besides the experience and leveling of being stronger)
i would love the dog to be the the same f2 dog if he survived, since it would make him even more of a lovable pet, but since the dog was already quite old i doubt it.

Well the change was VERY small
I actually hardly noticed it in the bazillion times I've played through the game

I know, that's why I said I wanted other things to help change the dog's appearance as well in Fable 3.
