Theresa
One of, if not the only, returning characters in the first and the second Fable. She is over 500 years old. Her parents were killed on her birthday, her eyes were cut out by Jack of Blades, and she even guides the Hero of Bowerstone in his quest.
But who is Theresa? On the outside, she appears as a blind old woman wearing robes, but underneath is a whole lot different. Is it possible she could be Evil? We already know she is invincible, like Scythe.
Remember when she commented on the pacifist attitude of Hammer, about her being TO pacifist, well she said she needed to find a way for her to fight. Exactly at the end of that quest, her father dies.
Take a look at the Shadow Judges. The one in the middle, that is Theresa's robes, her eyes, even her movement (shifting of her feet and all) is hers. Is it possible for her to be a Shadow Judge? Plus, she knows about how Reaver uses the Shadow Court to gain 'immortality' (youth forever). She should have told us about it.
Also take a look at Lucien. Is she plotting with him? Was she in fact using Lucien, she made him build the Spire, for her. On that big rock in Bower Lake, he appears, and Theresa disappears. Then Hammer asks "What've done with her?". Lucien says he was merely 'Listening'. He also mentions in his diary of a blind old woman. Perhaps Theresa was able to alter his dreams, build the Spire, and is using him.
Theresa also takes control of the Spire at the end of the game.She says it is hers, and to 'begone'. Could it be she used Lucien to build it? What are her motives? I think she will in fact be in III, and may one day be our enemy.
