Thief 4 officially uncloaked

Eidos Montreal developing house crafting the cutpurse Garrett's new adventure; release date, platforms, gameplay details still under wraps.

For almost a year it has been an open secret that Eidos Montreal has been working on a new entry in the Thief franchise, when it issued a teaser notice explaining that its next project would begin with the letter 'T". Nothing was then heard officially about the project until last month, when yet another teaser was posted by Eidos Montreal, followed by a print advertisement indicating news was coming today, May 11.

Plus a teaser for Deus Ex 3.


Eidos Montreal was founded in February 2007, and was revealed in November of that year to be working another new game in a classic series, Deus Ex 3, due out in fall 2010.

If Thief 3 makes it to consoles i would be extremely interested as ive missed previous adaptations on PC and now my PC is no longer used for gaming but have been told how good they are. Also be good to see how Deus Ex 3 ends up.

Thief 3 is good game. You can do free roam and rob peoples houses. I robbed a guy, took his keys and just walked into his house. Then he walked in wondering why his door was open and skillfully I shot a water arrow and extinguished the torch on the wall and then just walked out of his house while he fumbled around in the dark. Great game.

I remember 'Thief' on the original XBOX and it was a Classic ;
I haven't played any further versions within the Series; but if 'Thief 4' was to be released on the 360; then I think it will be a 'Must Buy'
