This is kinda funny..

So, im using my computer terminal at work (which is a Chemical Plant) and I was kinda bored a few weeks ago and decided to make a simple screen saver.. Well, what i did was used the existing screen saver "My Pictures Slideshow" and i created a new folder and just put a single image in it.. its a screen shot of a blue screen of death shown below.. its set to start within 1 minute in my screen saver settings..

Now, to see this humor as i do, ill explain what happened yesterday. The plant that i work at is in mid shutdown, for those that dont know, thats when the operations stop producing and begin maintenance on the entire plant, that includes everything from fixing the bathrooms to ditch digging and even computer work. anyway, we have all of these out of the country experts and what not here to observe and advise on particular parts of the shutdown.

So this is where it gets funny to me, Im making some coffee in the crew office where my computer is just idleing, moments later a group of IT specialists come in to check out our networking setup and all that fancy jazz. well, our onsite IT guy is bragging about how our computers are state of the art blah blah blah, and how he does such a great job of up keep. as they are looking at the screen, it just all of a sudden shoots off the blue screen of death and the IT guy freaks out. hahaha, i, for my own sake kept my mouth shut. ahh, good times. good times.

anyway, thats only funny to the geeky people i guess.. hahah

anybody ever see that episode of Seinfeld where george constanza was eating the shrimp in the meeting about the scoreboard for the yankees and that douche goes "hey george, the ocean called and they're running out of shrimp" and he tries to get back at him the entire episode but ends up using "the jerk store called, they're running out of you!" hahaha, thats kinda how i feel right now.. awe

A couple of years ago I did a similar thing with Print Screen. I opened some windows, made them smaller and then Print Screen. Then I used this opened-window-screenshot as a desktop image. My friend thought the computer had frozen or something and rebooted, but they were still there - then he figured out. It was fun. Also, duplicating icon images on a desktop picture is fun too, hard to find the right one (except if you drag a box and see which one highlights.
