My cheap school has decided not to run a music class next year (my last year of high school). The official reason is lack of interest because only three people wanted to do it next year, but thats a load of **** because they ran this years class with only four people.

So yeah I'm gonna have to move schools for my last year of high school, for just one subject.

That sucks, AF. Who knows, maybe plenty more people will show interest before long and the school might reverse their decision. Here's hoping!

Pfft. Why cancel it? Don't they save in on not having to purchase/maintain a lot of instruments with so few students?

Well everything's been finalized for next year, so it's a bit late now.

Well both the VCE (year 11 and 12) music teachers are leaving, so I think they just dont want to hire another one.

But from a more mature and adult point of view: I guess I can't blame them for not wanting to hire another teacher then. I mean, sure it sucks, but I can understand them for not wanting.
