I am not a person who uses the internet for anything. Cheats, forums, whatever. But i had a problem with Fable 3 and tried to figure out a solution for it when i stumbled upon this forum. I have the specialm editions of Fable 1 and 2 and heard a lot of people had lots of problems with them, 2 in particular but i never had any so i chalked it up to just user error. I bought Fable 3 and have a glitch where i cant get into the Barons tower. In researching it I found a lot of people had this problem and had to start over.

This bug glitch whatever iis absolutely ridiculous. It is not a plausible solution to start over or wait until Lionhead downloads something for online users to have to fix it. I dont have XBox live so i cant anyway. My point is that it is completely unacceptable for a company to put out a product that has problems and expect us to start over or fix the problem ourselves. If a carr company did this there would be a recall and they would be fixed and everyone can be happy. I have no solution to this problem because I dont have XBox live. So basically I have to waste another 13 hours of my life to do it again and risk another glitch or basically I just wasted $60.

This is a completely unacceptable thing for a company to do. They could have treated the consumers fairly and called for a recall but no. they laugh all the way to the bank with our money. Lionhead will never get another penny from me ever agian. Which is too bad because i really loved the first 2 games.

Rant over.Peace.

I agree to an extent.

I think Lionhead should have waited a bit to release Fable 3, although I'm sure they were on a deadline and we all know Microsoft is pretty strict when it comes to those, but they still should have waited and lost out on some money, rather than release this piece of crap on time.

Don't get me wrong, I had a blast playing Fable 3's story, etc. But the bugs make it nearly unbearable and I still think they should have kept a menu in game.

Anyway, being a PC Gamer. I remember when Lionhead first came out. I fell in love with Black and White. It was an amazing game. Then a few years passed and Black and White 2 and Fable were announced. I was excited. I bought Black and White 2 and it was HORRIBLE! So many bugs, glitches, and above all, no support from Lionhead. I mean, six months after the games release, it had barely any players and it was an online multiplayer game with so much potential if bugs would get fixed.

Anyway, the last update that game had was a few months after the release, then Lionhead completely abandoned it. A BRAND NEW GAME! I thought I was done with them. I told myself I wouldn't even buy another game of theirs, but I was wrong and I played Fable and loved it. Then I bought Lost Chapters and loved it. Bought Fable 2 and loved it. Bought Fable 3 and was disappointed with Lionhead, yet again, and to be honest, if Fable 4 disappoints me, I'm never purchasing another Lionhead product again.

Yeah I mean i loved the first two games soooo much. And i never had any problems because I bought the special editions that had everything fixed. And Fable 3 is a great game too. A lot of the controls i cant stand though but overall it was a superb game. But I am not willing to start over and play from the beginning again. Ill just deal with the fact i lost $60 and take it to the pawn shop and see if I cant trade it for something.....Madden 2011 maybe. I just feel really betrrayed by Lionhead for putting out a game with so many problems and then not doing anything to fix it for people who dont have XBox Live. They should have been a responsible compnay that is loyal to consumers and recall it or reimburse me. Its just totally ridiculous they are laughing all the way to the bank

if we're really that ticked off, why not play chicken... if EVERYONE we can convince held off from buying stuff from LH, or even MS, we could make demands... very much in the spirit of fable 3... a revolution! or at least a boycott...

sorry, too anarchist, isn't it?

No youre right. I mean, I hate ranting on the internet but for real this makes me mad. I paid $60 for a game that is loaded with problems. A car company or baby crib company would never release something with problems without having a recall. The only difference is Fable 3's problems wont kill you. But its still principal that Lionhead is laughing all the way to the bank. I cant even fix my glitches because i dont have Live. Its just upsetting that a company I have supported is ****ting on me. I love Fable 1 and 2 but today i pawned Fable 3 because I was so mad. And I told all my friends dont buy it or anything from Lionhead until they clean up their act. UGH! I hate sounding like a cry baby but for real i just want to play a game without glitches, is that too much to ask? That i expect something i buy to actually work?

You know what else is funny? Try getting ahold of Lionhead support, or somewhere to file a complaint. There's none.

I've even called Microsoft's Xbox Live Support and they couldn't find a contact email or phone number for Lionhead support.

Anyway, it's impossible for me to completely stop purchasing Microsoft products because I'm a PC Elitest. My world revolves around computers. Anyway, it's not MS fault. Majority lies on Lionhead.

You can always write a letter, (and I mean letter that you mail, NOT email) to the CEO and other top personnel at any company. Believe me, they take these letters seriously, because they know that each letter represents X number of people who did not take the time to write.
You might even be able to get a refund. But if you do write, the letter has to be professional and unemotional.

No produce is perfect, and no company is perfect. You can decide to let these glitches ruin your fun, or you can look at the overall gaming experience. I did 3 before 2, there is a glitch in my Bowerstone Demon Door in 2. It just keeps repeating the same 3 phases over and over. So, not only can I not open it, but my understanding is that you have to open all of the others, before you can open Fairfax Garden Demon Door. So I will not be able to open it either. Disappointing, but I will not let it ruin the fun I had playing the game as a whole.

As for spending $60., you over paid. Buy from Amazon next time. ^_^

NOT employed by Amazon.

Deadline: the point in time at which something must be completed

It's not completely Lion Head's fault. :/ A deadline is a deadline. If they can't make it to that deadline, then bad things happen (example: loosing money which means more problems in the future). And in reality, once Microsoft gets a hold of it, it's completely out of their hands. I'm thankful of how fast LH put patches out for people. THOSE take awhile.

I mean, yeah it sucks that to get the best gaming experience, you need to be hooked to the internet. But all computerish games have glitches. A lot of my xbox360 games have had at least one patch.

Knock on wood, my game has been pretty glitch free (also, try downloading the game onto your xbox, that SOMETIMES fixes things).
