Ontop of the Alien Colonial Marines disaster, developer Timegate Studios have laid off its entire staff. Sources from Kotaku have stated that the developer sent its staff home early on Thursday. They had also been known to have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last week. The company is faced with paying $7.35 million in damages and losing the Section 8 license after defeat in a legal clash with SouthPeak Interactive.
