Tips On Getting The Red Dragon Pistol.?

My Highest Score At The Shooting Range Was 161 With A Master Flintlock Pistol, Whats The Best Way To Win The Legendry Gun ?:wacko::unsure:

Well you definatley have the best gun for it, but i wait till after barnum fixes up the town then you have to shoot the bandits which is better because they have bigger heads. Once i did that my guy went from getting 160 to 190

for me i use a Master flint lock pistol, get 4 star accuracy and and 4 star speed and 4 star dexster style and keep on aming for the heads and also make the town good (bandits heads are bigger) thats what i did, got it on my 3 try but its hard to do for somepeople but hey good luck!

How Do YOu Get The town To Change So Its Nicer And You Have To Shoot The Bandits?

invest with barnum, it's a quest.

before going to the spire talk to barnum on the hill in westcliff camp give him 5000 gold. When you come back from the spire the camp will be a nice town and instead of shooting villagers you will shewt bandits.

O yah here are the stats 35dmg luckycharm aug and the aug that deals more dmg and takes less. Dont be fewled by its dmg its reload time is.75 it is the fastest weapon in the game

i dont think bandits are easier, i think theyr around the same. id say just keep trying. it took me like 20 tries till i got 1st place and that was with shooting villagers. now i can do both and get like 1st place everytime unless i try to get dolls, so my bst advice is just keep trying and aim for headshots.

Huh, interesting, I had thought the clockwork was more efficient with a lot less reload times. Maybe that is where I went wrong?

why is a master flintlock pistol the best? you have to reload every shot, wouldnt you rather have like a clockwork?

The reload time isn't really very constricting when you factor in how much more powerful the flintlock is than a clockwork. It does double the damage even without augments.

Like I mentioned in the "Favorite creature to kill" thread, you can still fire rapidly like a clockwork by using the level 3 Brutal Styles instant reload technique. All it takes is a little timing. Why sacrifice all that power when you can have it all?

Wether that is true or not, damage itself is not called into question when were talking about the Shooting range, where damage gives no modifiers. But sticking with this, though that little reload trick may be handy, it boiles down to if you CAN get the timing. Me, I can't. I suck at it. Besides that, by the time I hear this "clicking" noise they talk about, my firearm is already reloaded.

I used the master turret pistol and it got me 194 on the first try

my advise is to invest in barnums plan, that way westcliff is transformed and the rules change so your supposed to hit bandits (they are bigger and more abundant targets i think). then use a master clockwork pistol (more shots, quick reload) and aim for headshots. that way you dont have to stress about being really fast. just take your time and get headshots headshots headshots!

If you have one, use a turret pistol. If not, the clockwork should work. And remember this;

In the time it takes to shoot 2 targets (scoring two points), you could line up a headshot (scoring three points).

the gun you use should not be a factor in how quick you can score. the fastest way to score is to hit the same target if it pops up again straight away. regardless of the time it takes the target to either pop up again, or or for you to move to another target, the gun should have reloaded by then anyway. i bet you could get a decent score even with a rusty flintlock pistol
