Hi

As the title says really. Are there any big differences? I'm playing on the pc right now and not really getting on well with the controls in combat, to used to the xbox maybe.

Cheers

The only differences are the Bereaver and the Solus Greatsword. On the PC version, the Bereaver has one augmentation slot, which is filled with a flame augmentation, and the Solus Greatsword has three augmentation slots, which are filled with a flame, a health, and a sharpening augmentation. On the Xbox version, the Bereaver has three augmentation slots, one of which is filled with a health augmentation while the other two remain empty, and the Solus Greatsword is the same except it has an empty augmentation slot instead of one filled with a health augmentation.

Other than that, the only difference is the overall feel of the game while playing it, which is just personal preference. To me, the Xbox version feels weird. I prefer it on PC.

Also the PC has Mods which add A LOT of replay value and things to do, hence the reason people still play the PC version today.

Hmm, might try and stick it out on the PC then. Are there any particularly stand out mods for fable?

Im sure JohnDoe can answer that as he is one of the guys from FableTLCMod website.

It's just my personal experience and observation, but Fable: TLC also seems to look and run a lot more smooth than it does on the Xbox. And about the mods - I'm sure they do make the game more interesting, but I have yet to try any. The only thing I've tried in terms of "modding" the game was changing the attractive rating of certain things like hairstyles, based on what I feel actually is attractive [just me... but the default Youngster hairstyle is the best looking one in the game, the "Normal Haircut" is alright, and the rest are just damn ugly/stupid looking]. I think I also changed the aging-per-skill-increase to 0.6 years instead of 0.7 years, just so I'd be able to keep my guy 26 when ending the game [I'm picky - don't want it to go any higher than that].

I believe there are mods out there that allow you to wear the outfits that other characters in the game wear [for example]. I remember seeing things like Thunder's outfit on the main hero, Maze's outfit, etc. I've also seen custom-made sword graphics [which looked pretty cool from what I remember], mods that increase difficulty, and other things like that. But I of course recommend that you get your fill from playing the game normally first if you haven't already, before you consider mods [if you even want to].
