Torn Earth
There's a few people that already know about this.
Since 2002 I have been working on a mod for Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy that has the largest community for a non-administration mod.
Well It's nearing it's final build, so I've gathered up a handful of the original team that put it all together and am starting a mod for Unreal 3 set in an original setting.
I'm expecting big things from this.
I'll of course be back in an animating role. As well as modeling and coding.

Time Period: Distant future
Shortly after the creation of AI a techno-organic virus infected humanity. Spreading across the earth, this virus began rewriting human DNA, transforming flesh and bone into metal and circuit. The process was lethal, killing any infected within weeks after a short period of madness.
As a last ditch maneuver the Arc City was created. This city was created as a last bastion of humanity, with the greatest minds of a hundred sciences saved from the rampaging virus, and tasked with finding the cure. They failed to find a cure, but as the world outside them turned to chaos the City Dwellers decided upon a solution.
As the City Dwellers watched from inside their protected city, weapons were launched again the rest of the Earth. If the AI virus could not be cured, then it would be sterilised.
What little remained of humanity was destroyed in this act, and in honour of the fallen the City Dwellers named the year 01, the birth of New Humanity.
However, shortly it became evident that the weapons did not entirely cleanse the Earth. A tiny percentage of survivors began to rise from the ashes. This small portion of humanity carried the AI disease, but apart from a few visual mutations and even beneficial aspects, it did not effect them.
The City Dwellers became aware of this, and this small portion of disease carrying humans began to be known as the 1%. In fear of infection the city dwellers declared that they must be eradicated for the safety of humanity.
In Torn Earth the player chooses between two teams. Team one is the human city dwellers. The city dwellers are masters of technology and enjoy the luxury of Arc city as their home.
Team two is the 1%. These humans, partially immune to the AI virus have learned to adapt to the post apocalyptic conditions of the Earth. They seek to rebuild and are slowly learning to use their AI infections to their benefit.
A third faction, The AI, was the cause of the Techno Virus. These beings will be NPC only, and are supremely powerful, their behaviour and actions will be dictated by mappers.
