Treyarch Already Working on Call of Duty 7

This one won't really come as much of a surprise to anyone out there, considering the success and buckets of cash, Call of Duty: World at War has made for Treyarch and Activision. On David Kim's LinkedIn profile (a social netowrking tool for businesses), Treyarch's senior animator stated that he was working on Call of Duty 7.

Kim's profile read (now edited), "I am currently on my second title as a senior animator in the games industry with Activision / Treyarch on Call Of Duty 7."

Of course this will come as no surprise considering that Activision have been alternating the franchise back and forth between Infinity Ward and Treyarch to make sure they get their yearly installment.

It will continue to happen this way (Infinity Ward and Treyarch switching developments) as long as Activision push for yearly instalments.

Come up with a new scenario or go in a different direction take some risks jeez every writer that is gewd knows not to recycle old werk! Oh well people like these games.

They did, thats how Modern Warfare began in COD 4. It was Treyarch who went back to WWII with World At War, Infinity Ward took the advice and listened to fans. Won plenty of awards for that step in the right direction too.

Woo-hoo! Call of Duty 7 in the works! I actually liked Treyarch's last effort - World at War - and I'm pretty eager for Call of Duty 7 to be released. I'd still rather get my hands on Modern Warfare 2 first though!
