Ugh...gnomes :(

This quest is both humorous and irritating at the same time. The little sayings the gnomes make when you're near them have me rolling off the couch but when I'm in a cut scene and all I can hear is "You remind me of my mother and she was fat and ugly too!" just kind of ruins it. I've taken villagers on dates and been insulted during said dates and while this was funny at first it just adds to my annoyance at this point. I also can't find the stinkin gnome near the pub in bowerstone. I have searched high and low and endured 2 hours of the same 8 comments to no avail.
On a side note...is it just my imagination or were the gnomes cute before the idiot set them free? They are seriously creepy to look at now ;

I don't know about you but they always looked creepy to me... damn gnomes. If they're that big of an annoyance to you, perhaps you should shoot them? At least this way you get your revenge and a part of the quest/achievement completed at the same time. If you can't find a certain one, I'd suggest looking it up on GameFAQs, they might have something on there that can help you.

I do shoot them...when I can find them :/ Sometimes I didn't know there was going to be one where I go but I can't shoot them before the cutscene
They had round noses and weird pinched faces before...now...*shivers*

haha they are creepy and ya that gnome was annoying to find. but hey atleast they actually aren't just the gargoyles where they all look the same. some of sit some hold on some stand theres more variety.

Really? I guess all the small creepy stuff just looks the same to me. Unfortunately, my crummy T.V. doesn't really balance sound well so I can turn it up loud but often times I won't be able to hear what they're trying to say. The gnomes, I mean. Had the same problem with the gargoyles in Fable II. Had to try and find them based solely on what I read in a guide. That was difficult and annoying.

ya i found the gargoyles to be a bit more difficult to find. the gnomes i rarely had any problems with. but ya they weren't all in the same position my favorite driftwood had one that had its own little hut i wanted it as a lil dog house lol

The gnomes are just regular old dwarves before the gargoyle's curse is activated. Then they become something way worse than a banshee! But they're fun. XD

The one in bowerstone pub is out back. There should be a door at the back of the pub or the house next to the pub. It leads to a garden where the gnome is located behind the door.

Oh and yeah, the gnomes change from cute to seriously evil after the gargayole changes them.

Yeah the one near the pub annoyed me too. I think its out back. or behind a house near the pub. go to the fable wiki(type in on google) there should be a list of all the gnome locations there.
