UK Preorders

Just a bit of advice, if you havnt yet preordered Fable 2 (Shame on you!) then may i recommend Game.co.uk.

The Reason i picked that website is due to the fact that they Guarentee it will arive in your house by the morning of the 24th!

I went ahead i chose the most expensive delivery type hoping it would come on thursday xD

heres hopeing -Fingers Crossed-

It won't arrive on thursday because Lionhead have the right to sue anyone who releases there game before the release date...even if it's only to one person.

Always used gameplay personally, always had fantastic delivery times and even early ones sometimes.

It won't arrive on thursday because Lionhead have the right to sue anyone who releases there game before the release date...even if it's only to one person.

If they physically put it on shelves yes but online only retailers can also say they had to send orders early to make sure they got the title there for release and to fill all preorders. Thats the way Gameplay used to get around it anyway, had titles like Bioshock, The Darkness, Half Life 2 The Orange Box and Gears Of War 3 days early. I dont expect to get Fable 2 early but its always a nice surprise when i get the dispatched email notification on a Tues/Wed as opposed to a Thurs. :lol:

I love to know how you got GoW 3 early when 2 isn't out till the 11th...that aside mine's coming off play.com they've done me sterling service with arriving early for years. Even the massively demanded GTA IV was early so i've high hopes.

no Dout gears of war 3 will be exactly the same as 1 and 2.

Personally i dont see the big deal about GoW2, Its just the first one with a few tweaks :l

When you have something thats sold as many copies as Gears (being the first in the series too) and been reviewed as highly theres very little you need to change with it. Why fix what isnt broken? Just tweak what doesnt work and improve in the areas you can.

Gears of War has a simple formula...Gun + Chainsaw oh and the unreal three engine. Fable 2 might be in-depth and all together incredible but its not gonna look as good as Gow2

Well, I've had mine pre-ordered for about...Oh, two weeks now, and it just involves me nipping down to my local Blockbusters after college on Friday, handing them my proof of purchase and then just collecting it.

Simple as that, although I will atest to Game being damn reliable for things like pre-orders, brilliant shop, excellent service too.

I got told by blockbusters which is where i preordered mine that if theres a cop of the CE when i get there ill get that with no extra charge i was like O.O and i jizzed all over the shop assistant XD
