Ok after you have finished laughing at my ignorance, please answer my question. Does it involve giving a gift and trusting the other person will give your desired item?

Ok the way you trade is you will see orbs of the people you will go up to them target them interact and gift im pretty sure and you trade

Target the orb then Interact then choose "Gift"

Yes, its placing your COMPLETE trust that the other person ( who you probably don't know ) will be honest. More than a few people have been screwed by this terrible system.
