Unauthorised Xbox 360 Storage Devices Not Compatible With Upcoming Preview Program
I'm not sure if mine is authorised or not..

Major Nelson added a post to his blog recently informing those who have signed up for the preview program that they will have to make sure they are using an authorised (AKA official) Xbox 360 storage device for it to work.
Apparently when the new update hits, "unauthorised" Xbox 360 storage devices (like this) will not work at all with your Xbox 360, and you'll need to use devices like this from here on out. Simply put, "If you continue to use an unauthorized Memory Unit after the update, you will not be able to access your stored profile or saved games."
Bit of a wounder for those that rely on unofficial storage devices. Sorry folks. On a side note, if Microsoft didn't charge so much per MB/GB with their storage devices, people wouldn't be forced to buy third party/unofficial/unauthorised memory units. Just saying.
