Valkyries never miss.
My name is Alyx, I was a member of the Canadian Special Forces team "Valkyrie" which was top secret until about a year ago, training was extensive, six months of twenty hour training, crushing my body and raising my moral, then building my body again.
My first mission was... Awesome, nto that war is a good thing, I just felt so badass was all, we all had loaded rifles, FAMAS, M4A1, G36C, our Sergeant gave us an awesome speach as we prepped for repelling from the Chinook: "Remember gentlemen, we are VALKYRIES! The best of Canada, the Valkyrie swoops from the skies and kills the enemy, steals the souls of the dead, destroys and plunders the battlefield, and so shall we! We will ahnilate their bodies, scar their minds and drain their blood for our coffee creamer!"
Of course we all knew he was a psycho; it just made him more awesome though... We repelled onto the captured oil-tanker, we were to rescue the crew and destroy the pirates, of course, no one could see us though, we dropped in; I shot the pirate captain before we even hit the ground, I swung left with Jason and Mickey, Buck and Sergeant Potson ran right, we took down three pirates withou them seeing, we ran towards the cargo bay for the crew, we heard Buck and the Sarge report in every few seconds with a kill, by the time we hit the cargo bay, a ninety second run, they had killed all thirty pirates, we onyl heard four enemy shots. We cut the power of the cargo bay, turned on night vision and popped the hatch, it swung open with a squeak, we shot twelve shots, shooting free the cuffs of all ten crewmen, two misses, I feel embarrassed, while they began to figure out they were free to take back the ship, we weard already up into the Chopper, ghosts in the wind...
This was just my first mission and we had totally destroyed an entire force of armed pirates and freed the passengers. We would be in nine other missions in that six year career, why did we only do nine? Because no one wanted to deal with us after the fifth time...
