Valve Boss Slates PS3

Valve Software boss Gabe Newell has recently launched a personal attack on Sony and branded the PS3 'A waste of everybodys time'. This isnt the first time he has slated Sonys next gen console either, earlier in the year he called it a total disaster on so many levels... and said he thinks it's really clear that Sony lost track of what customers and what developers wanted. He is quoted to have said the following:

Investing in the Cell, investing in the SPE gives you no long-term benefits. There's nothing there that you're going to apply to anything else. You're not going to gain anything except a hatred of the architecture they've created. I don't think they're going to make money off their box. I don't think it's a good solution. I'd say, even at this late date, they should just cancel it and do a do over.

He also made comments about The Orange Box on the PS3 and said the following:

S3 owners who buy The Orange Box are going to be happy with their game experience and that EA - which is handling the PS3 version - will make it a good product But I think it's harder to get it to the same standard as the 360 and PC versions.
