Valve: Counter Strike is Back

After a series of updates to CSS, Valve has continued forth the old-school favorite with their new game entitled "Counter Strike: Global Offensive". Global Offensive features new maps, new weapons, and new characters. Classic CS content, revamped and updated for today's generation, and ontop of it all will be featuring some new gameplay modes and the mandatory standards (Leaderboards & Matchmaking).

The game is currently in development at Valve & Hidden Path Entertainment, and is targeted to land online across Steam (Mac & PC), XBL Arcade, and PSN in 2012. You can check out the game's Steam page as well, and the trailer below..​

Very nice, looking forward to playing this. My pc is so shoddy so it wouldn't run it. Glad its on xbox.

Hope it does better on consoles this time around than the last one. The original and Counter Strike Source deserve a good console adaptation.

Agreed. As much as i like valve they do center there main focus around pc gaming. Hopefully they will support xbox's and Ps3's a lot more than they did with tf2. That got updated once on xbox and then they didnt touch it with a stick. Thats the one concern i have about it.
