Valve Reveals HL2 Episode 1 With Be Stand Alone

The upcoming 'expansion' for the highly acclaimed Half Life 2 that has courrently been renamed from Aftermath to Episode 1 is apparently going to be a stand alone game according to Valve. So you will not have to own a previous copy of Half Life 2 to run it (though it would help you alot story wise if you did). It is due on April 24th and will retail in US at $19.99 though a European price has not yet been decided.

360 games are bloody expensive though at the moment.
