Microsoft has re-emphasized to CVG that its Video Marketplace service will launch across Europe "soon".
The company was speaking at a very flash event in central London today to reinforce and hammer home the point that it has an awesome line-up this Christmas.
Microsoft's Xbox Live product manager, Robin Burrows, told us that Video Marketplace will enter Europe and the UK "soon" and that the firm is currently in talks with many major publishers with regards to content for the HD rental on demand service. You will of course also be able to download standard def content too.
Key things we need to know are prices of the rentals and they type of content we can look forward to seeing on the service.
Burrows said there could be announcements made soon and added that the service will go live this side of Christmas. More soon..
