Actually balverines in the day have a red tint on their fur. It's just the lighting.

We must be playing a different Fable II then because all I saw were brown and white Balverines. Maybe they were in the game and I missed it... I rarely pay attention to the things I kill.

I wouldn't say it's the worst idea ever but I think Terra has been playing a bit too much of the ol' Elder Scrolls games. However, it would be nice if we could do something akin to that. The first two games were insanely easy and I'd be quite disappointed if the third one is too.

I have played Oblivion, I'm just giving my opinion on making it a little more challenging, you don't need to get nasty. All I want, what i'm hoping for is for the game to be more challenging then the previous games, I simply suggested a difficulty slider because thats what came to mind.

Not really... I haven't played Oblivion or any Elder Scrolls games for that matter in like 3-5 months.

I agree with you. Two difficulty levels, at least: normal and hard. And REAL MALUSES when you die. Ah, and not the fu**ing fastest respawn ever, in the action, but in your castle.

The difficulty setting wouldn't be a game breaker for me, but it would be nice not to just have to settle for "Easy Mode"

I tottaly aggree, fable is fun as hell the way it is, if they make it as hard as say dragon age it would take a whole lot of fun out of the game.

"generic hard game". That made me laugh. Most games are centered around casuals so the difficulty in most games is pretty mediocre, even on the higher difficulty settings. There's nothing wrong with giving us a choice of difficulty as the casuals can still play on Easy mode while those of us who enjoy a challenge can play on the harder difficulties.

Your idea of fun, doesn't fit everyone's idea of fun. Fun for me is being challenged. Don't get me wrong i still enjoyed the first 2 games of the Fable Series and i already stated before it wouldn't break the game for me.

I'm really getting sick of people telling me to go play other games for difficulty.

They probably won't add anything, thats cool i'll still play it. Its just opinions at this point.

Thank you. I was trying to find something a tad more interesting than my old Fable character and what's more interesting than Jack Skellington? Why, Jack Skellington as a pirate of course!

Also, agreed about the playing different games for difficulty thing. That's like telling me to eat hard candies just because I don't like a specific type of chocolate candy. Those other games don't offer what Fable offers and vice versa. Therefore, the only proper solution would be of course a difficulty slider or different difficulty modes. You also have to realize that no one forces you to play on a higher difficulty so it wouldn't kill your gaming experience just because they gave the rest of us a choice.

Sorry but some of us don't want fable to be as easy as a game for 8 year olds.
Seriously the idea of a difficulty change option i fine, why so mad? it's an option! you don't have to do it.
And making it hard doesn't lower the fun.
