Viking battle for asgard GLITCH!

So i've had viking for a while now and i get up to the point where i have to retrieve the grindstone for bori.

So, i go to the beach kill all the legion and open the chest to get the grindstone..

Take it back to bori and give it to him...but this is the glitch

talk to him again and he tells me to go get the grindstone! wtf?
So i go back and the chest is already opened and no way to get another, as there is only one in the game >_>

There's no way i can progress now

anyone know if there is a way to overcome this?

sorry what island is this on 1st 2nd or 3rd

second island i think, just before u have to get the second dragon gem

sorry i do not know a way to fix it but i would like to bump this, i also have this game i quite enjoy but my xbox360 did freeze alot, think it broke and i got another one... anyway just so you know

at the end of the game the last boss(hel) is really hard, lack of health to obtain and you have to destroy totem things and keep from being knocked into fire that seperates the totems(describing it is even difficult)

and the lack of autosave and bad lighting made it worse i refused to sell that game till i got a even gamerscore but after you deactivate all the polls you just go into a qte and its like taking down any other giant

sorry dude i never had that problem have you got a earlyer save

Have you tried just leaving the guy and carrying on?

sorry i havent been back, had a busy week

i cant leave the guy cos he's the last thing i need in order to do some assault thing on a castle. Need his help to join my army (something like that lol)

It's a pain though cos now i have a gamerscore which ends in a 3 >_< lol im too much of a perfectionist but still

the game was playable and i was quite enjoying it until the glitch and now i dont think ill ever play it again. i've read somewhere else where others have the same problem and if the makers don't want to fix it then i don't suppose i'll be buying any of their other games any time soon
