Look, this is a large forum with a lot of members and to be honest with you we cannot be expected to give out cuddles to every single member just because they think no one pays them enough attention. I can count on three fingers the number of friends I have here but I am not going to start getting all upset over it and then make a thread describing how no one cares.
Blue Crow, everyone here, no matter how many posts/friends/referrals/purple squirrels they have, is a valued member simply because they are part of our community - but to say we are "over you" is more than a little self-indulgent and isn't exactly going to win over anyone. Yes, we have some members more popular than others but if you look at their posts you can see why - they don't try to make people like them, they don't whine about not being noticed enough and they just get on with being friendly as much as possible and oddly enough others warm to that kind of demeanour.
I'm not trying to be harsh, but I really have had it up to here with people moaning about not getting enough attention and making threads to that effect; threatening to leave/kill themselves/eat all the e-cookies etc. You have to make the effort with people too - you can't expect others to do all the running as in my experience, friendship is a two way street.
I am not pandering to this kind of behaviour anymore and if you want somewhere to go and feel sorry for yourself, it won't be here. Everyone here will gladly help anyone with a problem - but you will find a distinct lack of compassion and patience for anyone who is just trying to get sympathy because they don't feel they get enough attention.
