Didn't know where else to post this, but was thinking if an off-topic section would be of any consideration here?
Just something to get more posts and activity going?
I'll start - just back from "the fighter", I found it to be an enjoyable film, swear you wouldnt guess christian bale acts as bruce wayne XD and mark wahlberg looked the part too. I recomend it ( however I am somewhat a fan of boxing so i may be biased :-/ lol)

Anyone got any convo? Doesnt have to be cinema/fable related.

I also recently finished the book "Dune" after being recommended by a work colleague, even though its a handful i'm considering reading the next instalment.
 
The Bowerstone South Tavern section is where the general stuff goes - I've moved this thread there :)

BTW - The Dune series is worth sticking with. Can be be pretty heavy going at times but I enjoyed reading the first three books.
 
Ahhh - i totally ignored everything under fable2 forum XD, as i took it that it would of just went fable fable tlc etc lol. Thanks for the info btw - my manager said the next installment's only 124pgs approx but its very heavy reading because it all politics, and flipping back a few pages to further grasp whats going on will happen more than once XD.
 
i saw winters bone recently and it was fantastic. i saw it was nominated for best picture, had never heard of it, and was extremely glad i took the time to see it. pretty dark and intense, especially for a low budget indie movie. worth looking into ;)

i'm also thinking of reading a new book called room. kind of a twisted take on plato's the cave. a kid is born in a room held captive with his mom. he's raised thinking there is no outside world, and everyone lives in rooms...you get the idea. the whole story is told from his perspective....looks pretty interesting. :)
 
Awsome replies lol : cheezMcNASTY - never heard of winters bone but i'll have a look into it, dark intense - sounds like something i'd enjoy lol. As does the book "room", i've stopped reading much fictional books lately and reading mostly science related books when i do end up reading lol

Firis - watched a documentary myself there on pain ( bbc horizon ) was an ok documentary, i've alot of shows i follow lol - supernatural is my no.1 show atm except season 6 isnt nearly as good as 1-5 was :-/ and recently heard there filming a new season of red dwarf due out for next year :-D

Purple Nurple - I can see how this can be annoying to the community :-/



Dark Drakan - I do recomend seeing it as i enjoyed it myself, even considering having a look into the ward vs gatti trilogy, meant to be some goo fights to watch.

HobbeBrain - Same but when in rome lol
