Ways to get good points

So I was wondering, what are some good ways to get points towards being good and also being pure? So far I've found that donating gold helps boost up the good, not too sure about being pure though.

I kinda killed everyone in Bowerstone and bought all of the property I could and raised taxes to 100% and now I'm completely evil and corrupt.

Okay I'll just stick with it for now then. Do you get good points for helping people with quests?

Pretty funny how one second, I walked into Bowerstone and all the people and kids were following me and cheering, then I take out my sword and start killing everyone.

You can get a lot of good points by gifting NPCs a whole lot of money, but it does nothing for your purity as far as I know.

All taxes and shops as low as they can go (I think that gets purity points, not sure but), and give people a bunch of moneys. I never understood the qualitative difference between Good/Evil and Purity/Corruption. Surely someone who is "good" would not be "corrupt"?

To get money, trade weapons from Bowerstone Market Blacksmith to the traders in Fairfax (hell of a lot quicker than real estate).

Bowerstone is my Economic Stronghold in the game. You see, it is THERE they have one of the best Blacksmiths, and several useful stalls, and a book store, and alchemist. I keep it at 5 Stars for Economy, NEVER messing with it. That is where I purchase my items.

Everywhere else witnesses slaughter and death.

As for good points, at 100% evil, donate like 100,000-150,000 G to some random person (like a beggar?) to get Max Good.

The poorer the person you donate to, the more good points you get.

You can get purity points by lowering the rent/prices for any houses or stores you own. If you own a decent amount of real estate and set them as low as possible, it shouldn't take too long to rack up a decent amount of purity.

I'm not sure if giving people stuff gets you good points or purity points, but be careful with that if you want to keep your spouse around. I was giving all kinds of stuff to people at one point and my husband got ****ed at me for "cheating on him"! I think you should be okay though as long as you don't do it in the region where your spouse lives.

75 Good points for donating 10,000 gold to Temple of Light
Max Good points for donating 100.000 gold to Beggar
1 Good point for every person seeing you play the Lute/Use Worship (correct me on the number if I'm wrong as I'm not totally sure)

Purity points for lowering rent below 0% (The lower the % the more Purity)

Note: I would lower the Gypsy Camp all the way down to -100% and leave the rest of the properties you own at 0%. In about a half hour (maybe less) you should have full purity.

(Just trying to organize all ideas into one post :))

Thanks people, I think for now I'll keep on my path of evil, until I finish the game, by then I should own a lot of property.

You can get lutes at any general store, if I'm not mistaken.

the beggars on the bowerstone bridge will give you 1 good point for every 100 gold. for purity you need to eat veggies and lower rent and avoid sleeping too much
