Weapon morphing question. Help is appreciated!

Well, I beat the game a few hours ago. Still have a lot to do. Weapon morphing is something I've really been looking forward to and it's really cool but I have some questions. Now, I notice with weapons that aren't the Hero Hammer and Hero Sword you get options on what to do to morph them. I understand that but my question is: will your Hero Sword/Hero Hammer keep morphing as you use it? Like say I go kill a bunch of civilians will it change form because I'm evil? I also don't notice it getting any longer. It would be really stupid if it stopped morphing because mine has a really cool design and I'd like to see more. If it doesn't keep morphing, guess it's time I started using other weapons. I have level 5 combat and working on level 4 magic and level 5 guns.

From what I gather from my first play through, buying the first chest makes it get bigger, the second chest gives you the first morph (Bone handle for my hammer, physical makeup for sword), Third chest gives another morph (Intricate head for hammer, bone handle for sword), Fourth chest gives color morph, fifth chest gives aura thing -nod-

They all, though, make it bigger. By the end, my hammer went from higher than my head to lower than my knees and the head is damn near as big as my torso ^^

Will test said theory out with other play throughs. And no, mine haven't remorphed at all, so I doubt they'll continually morph.
