Weapon Question

I didn't do much trading on Fable 2, and I haven't done any on Fable 3. To my understanding, it is not possible to get every weapon in Fable 3 without trading, since every weapon has a set number of random weapons to get. I've read posts where people say stuff like "I have two sandgooses, and will trade one for a dragon stomper". My question is, how does one go about getting multiple weapons, such as multiple sandgooses. Do you have to play through the game multiple times, and use a second controller to trade items to one game save?. I'm also aware of a item duplication glitch, but I did run the update which I believe removed that glitch.

The glitch that was fixed is "Infinite Money and Experience Glitch". I believe you are still able to "Duplicate" weapons using the 2 controllers to one game save thing. Also on a side note The game randomly selects which weapons are in the universe every time you play it. If you had a willing friend, you could be able to transfer money to your new account and acquire the new weapons. Trade to your friend -> and then Old Account. Harder than trading and duplicating, but it also works.
