What a Novel idea! [from LionHead's site]

Here's the link: http://lionhead.com/blogs/fable_2_development/archive/2010/09/15/what-a-novel-idea.aspx

I would focus you on this part, I don't know if it was known:
The action in FABLE: THE BALVERINE ORDER takes place between Fable II and Fable III. The days of magic and adventure are fading away, giving way to the age of industry and science. As the aged last Hero sits upon the throne of Albion, two friends—the privileged Thomas and his loyal servant, John—set out for the East in search of a legendary beast: the vicious, rarely-seen balverine. But their desire for adventure may be their ultimate undoing—because their quarry has just found them.

Alas, our brave hero falls before ever finding the balvarine. His body lay in a twisted, bloody heap on the rough terrain after being lacerated by his own blade! (Are you kidding me with that cover art? Looks like he's trying to decapitate himself.)

Maybe he's doing it for real.

"Better killed by myself than killed by a greedy balverine". Zzzak. *Head chopped*

EDIT: @The Tyrant Lord: I know, but the thread is mean to let you know about the time of the storyline: between Fable 2 and Fable 3. If it's not ok, lock&ban for me. Sad face.

Very well, but you should have specified it.

So...balverines will be rare in Fable 3?

I don't think so. I saw a gameplay video of a Hero fighting a group of balverines. They probably just wrote that for the book.

Rarely seen? Damn, I was harassed by hoards of them everywhere I went.

Re: What a Novel idea! [from LionHead's site]

would be funny if we had to make promise to white balverine, it would be a nature reserve for balverines.

-pictures balverines at the bar with pints-

O_o

LOL.

Also. I want that book! I think the characters look/sound quite interesting. So this book is set at the time of our Fable 2 character's rule?

Which will be given to you ASAP, as I apparently gave too much rep the last 24 hours...

Rather generous for a Tyrant aren't you? :P
