what are the most powerful swords, guns, and crossbows?

I am trying to collect the most powerful weapons and am wondering what they are and where you can buy them.

master weapons can be bought from any shop. Legendaries have to be found, either in dungeons or behind demon doors. You can find a list of all legendary weapons on the stickies in these forums.

But its all a matter of opinion, chose what you think is best, don't get one based another persons opinion.

The Daichi is widely considered to be the best sword, and I use it myself. Guns are a bit more varied, and I usually stick with an augmented master turret rifle.

The Daichi is proven to be the best sword. After the main storyline, you go to the Brightwood Tower and at the top there is a broken piece of rail. You jump and you enter a puzzle where at the end of the small puzzle quest you will get a treasure chest with the Daichi. The best gun depends. Most people might say The Rammer which is gained by getting all 50 gargoyles. There's guides on the internet for this. A lot might say the Red Dragon from the Westcliff Shooting Range first prize. And then there's the Enforcer, gained from Giles farm cell.

It's available before the end of the story. All you need to do is reach Bloodstone and the Archon's Knot is accessible.

With melee weapons, the only ones people ever use are the Daichi and the master hammer with four augment slots. Most, like myself, use the Daichi. Try them both and see what you like.

Guns have many more options. I would try out all the legendary ones (Perforator, Rammer, Red Dragon, Enforcer) and a few master ones with four augment slots. Once again, go with the one you like best.

Actually once you reach Wraithmarsh Archon's Knot becomes accessible....

Yeah alot of people say the Daichi and the Red Dragon. But there is also the Perforator, the Chopper, the Royal Spectre, and Hal's Rifle

where is hals rifle? also do crossbows pretty much go out of style later in the game in favor of guns?

I got this quote from the fablewiki link. Is it true about it rivaling the red dragon with the augment?

"* It is possible that hitting an enemy with more than 1 bullet per round will multiply the damage. This means that if all 3 bullets hit the damage will be comparable to that of the Enforcer. However, it does not have the same stopping power. Unfortunately this is extremely unlikely as 1 bullet always seems to go astray.

* Also, having the augment, "Positively Charged" is a great one for this weapon. Having that on Hal's Rifle really rivals against the Red Dragon. In my personal opinion, Hal's Rifle is better than the Red Dragon for its clip size, damage, DPS, and range. "

Hal's Rifle is in the Shop of Secrets (Or whatever th place is called) in the DLC Knothole Island

I have read the wiki on Positively Charged its sounds like the perfect augment im going to have to buy 2

Well sure, you could say that too, but when you get to Wraithmarsh for the first time, the only way to get out of it is to go to Bloodstone. It's all the same thing.

That weapon is pretty cool. Unfortunately, that's just about all it has going for it. Sure, it does a relatively high amount of damage and it has four augment slots, but you can also get a master hammer with four augment slots. Its speed is exactly the same, and it does more damage.

did you really beat fable: tlc and fable 2 both 25 times each necromancer?

that's an awesome accomplishment, b ut out of curiosity how many times have you beaten the original fable without TLC? I find that one hard to play after playing TLC.

Nope, the Rammer you can only get at the end of the game and it is awesome.

Personally I go for Master Flintlocks with 4 augment slots + cool augments from Knothole.

ok cool thanks! I am debating what to use in the mean time since my strongest weapon is a steel longsword, LOL. I need something besides a basic crossbow that sells for like 30 gold, lol

I never bothered with the original. I was introduced to TLC first.
