What do you think?

Just wondering because you know how ALOT of Newer music is copied from older songs and then changed with a simple beat and then some rapper backed up behind it.. well jsut wondering what song do you prefer out of..

Daft Punk - Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger
OR the version by Kanye West.
Kanye West - Stronger (I think its called that)

Just seeing what you'd prefer.

Thank you. At least some people are sane.

Re: What do you think?

Not really my cup of tea either, I'm afraid. Throw in some Breaking Benjamin, or Saosin, or whatever and you're golden. ;)

Re: What do you think?

I'd go with Daft Punk but Kayne West's version isn't bad

Re: What do you think?

Interstellar 555 is the best thing I've seen.
I'd have to go with the original, but covers are pretty neat, had not known Kanye West did that song.

Re: What do you think?

Yeah i like all music and bands pretty much except gangster rap and emo ****..

So yeah i like breaking Benjamin alot they're one of my top bands.

utum yeh.. not so much with the newer music eh

Re: What do you think?

I prefer the orignal from Daft Punk.

I'm into hardcore/metal/rock. Not too much for Breaking Benjamin. Mostly As I Lay Dying, Avenged Sevenfold, The Devil Wears Prada, Dethklok, Dragonforce, Dreamtheatre, Eternity Void, Alexisonfire, Horse the Band, Three, Linkin Park, Necro, Army of the Pharaohs, etc., plus of course all the classic rock bands from back in the day. I have nothing against other genres and listen to just about everything. I can list songs that I like in any genre you can give me. I try to keep my ears open.

Re: What do you think?

Rap... rhymes with crap. I am so sick of this "gangsta" culture that keeps floating around. It bugs me. Just alot of people who can't sing reading half-baked sheets of unintelligeable ramblings. Sure, it's music. But no one said it's good music. Both versions I don't particularly care for, but that's just me.

Re: What do you think?

Yeah the new look is Emo and gangster.. I DO NOT LIKE EITHER!!! Me cry..

Re: What do you think?

i liked Kanye West i liked the video, and at the time i was turning japanese, and nearly buying a wii, not a 360

Re: What do you think?

Psh! Kanye West video was crap! It was him just acting like a Retard infront of a camera.. you obviously haven't seen any of the Daft Punk videos.. or their Live stuff! INSANE!!

Re: What do you think?

Re: What do you think?

Numa Numa Ay! Keil pi skelsh ke! hahah My ah he my a ha ha my ahh he my ahh har! My ah har har! haha

Re: What do you think?

It's so unfortunate that people judge rap music without knowing anything about it and simply associate it to the current trend of "Hiphop". IMO rap died in 1997 along with Biggie. Prior to his death rap actually had a message to convey and it told a ****ing story. The message didn't stop with bitches, money, and dubs. For those who think rap is just a random jumble of words then please give the early "Public Enemy" songs from the 70s and "Run DMC" from the 80s a chance. They're not terribly different from what country use to be in terms of lyrical style (The way the lyrics are portrayed are different ofcourse).

Sorry for that little rant. When people say the line "Rap rhymes with crap" it just gives me a distinct image of an ignorant white man with a bit of red on his neck (bad experience from a customer when I worked at Gamestop).

Anyway. Daft punk fo' sho "dawg".
