i use vista. not a bad os, but kind of a downer. it takes up so much ram and hogs up my dual core processor, so its hard to play games from even three years ago. startup time blows too

i also use vista and yeah it does take up alot of ram but i like the feel of it more than xp oh i have the buisness editon btw

I have a laptop that runs XP, never was too fond of Vista but its an inevitable upgrade which will have to happen sooner or later. Most of the time though, in fact 99% of the time, Im on my iMac. Currently running Leopard on it but I can boot my old version of tiger directly from an external drive which is handy because InDesign CS3 wont work with Lepard for some awful reason.

i am thinking about getting Linux because of well yea vista takes a ton of ram i am constantly using 58% of my ram even when doing nothing

I use XP, I had Vista but switched back to XP after a few months.

XP Media Center at home and Xp Pro at work as well as what ever system the customer has on their PCs

XP was the most laggy, glitchy and craptastic OS ever developed. 90% of the source-code was probably written on st. Patrick's day -_-

I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium edition on my Dell notebook and Windows XP with service pack 2 on my desktop computer. Next time I purchase another laptop I'll be investing in a MacBook Air, probably, or a MacBook Pro.
