What's going on?

This isn't a big deal, but sometimes when I put my disc in it takes a few tries (eject/close) to actually get my xbox to read it. Sometimes it takes quite a while. I'm still able to play fine when it finally reads it, but what is going on and how would I fix it? Does my xbox need a good cleaning inside?

It's done this with fable 2 and Gta 4 so I guess it's the drive. DO I just clean it out? Is it the dust?

Your lens is either dirty, the laser is going bad, or the disc is dirty/scratched up.

I had the exact same issue with my 360, and it was the laser going bad until it finally never read my games anymore. I'd suggest if you have the warranty still, to get a replacement model, or if you can deal with it and wait it out to save up to get an Arcade model and just use the HDD from your current Xbox (that's what I did).

There are fixes on Youtube, but I'd only suggest them if your warranty is expired as they require opening up the 360. There was a really good fix video, but I can't find it anymore.
