What's Next Oblivion...

I decided I wanted to make a new thread to solicit a few ideas about something that's had my brain itching. The Elder Scrolls Oblivion- I believe there is one expansion out and another on the way, but I'd like to find out what everyone would want in the next expansion pack. What do YOU want for Oblivion? :)

Re: What's Next Oblivion...

Yeah, I've heard of that and the Knights of the Nine one, but I'm just suggesting that I want your opinions. What does the public want for Oblivion (An awesome game by all means, but what would you like to see in it for the future?)?

Im unsure what more they could add that i would want...

Maybe add werewolves again like from Morrowind Expansion Bloodmoon and maybe expand on Vampires etc more. Cant really think of anything more right now...

Better 3rd person combat...

Well its designed around a 1st person perspective but i see what your saying.

Re: What's Next Oblivion...

I'd personally like to see a wider variety of adventurous, epic quests. I could see a whole questline where you must travel accross the world more. Just an idea. As you've said already, Drakan, (very very true) that Oblivion cannot get any better, I like to hear ideas. I wonder if they would ever consider making one with dragons? Probably not, but imagine that!

I didnt say that ;)

I just meant i cant think of anything personally id like them to add to it at this moment.

Re: What's Next Oblivion...

Oh yeah, sorry... I think I'd like to see the ability to use weaponry while on horseback... if that's possible. I'm just thinking about what could go into Oblivion.

Id thought about that aswel but it would be hard to pull off well and would probably look glitchy and bad.

Re: What's Next Oblivion...

Have you ever found M'aiq the liar in the game (you know- funky Khajit running around the world, gray robe + hood, talks in third person, has crap-loads of funny opinions about the game and features that weren't included, is a major easter egg...)? I think he said something about "M'aiq wonders why someone would want to fight on a horse. M'aiq thinks this would kill the horse" or something vaguely similar. It's a little hint from the developers I think.

Cant say i recall seeing that no...

Re: What's Next Oblivion...

M'aiq the liar is freaking hard to find. He runs from Leyawin on the road to just about every city and is an essential character, plus he runs faster than most anyone in the entire game. He wears a gray robe and hood. I don't blame anyone for not finding him, as it's more of a once in a lifetime deal....

Next time i boot Oblivion up i will have to search around.

Re: What's Next Oblivion...

He's a tough one, though. In Morrowind, he was nice enough to stay in one place, but in Oblivion, he likes to roam. I recommend having a large speed skill... or a very fast horse if you want to find him. If you really think you can, try to kill him to slow him down. Being essential, he won't die.

Have to get my unicorn back, thats fast.

Re: What's Next Oblivion...

Yeah, I suppose having the cheapest paint horse in the game doesn't do much when you try to catch him... I'll have to post some screenshots of him soon.

Yeah that paint horse is slow, i just use that when my Unicorn goes wandering.

Re: What's Next Oblivion...

By tonight I should have some screenshots of him. I'll try to do it as soon as I get home. Just be patient.
