When does the "free soldier outfit" gift get added to the sanctuary?

Topic question. I'm wondering how far in the game I have go to before I'll get the gift--so far I've just gotten to Bowerstone and still nada. It's not post-coronation like the actual DLC questline, is it?

You should get it right away. I'd say just check to see if you downloaded it correctly.

Hm. Well, I've redownloaded it twice now... still not showing up. All the other gift items showed up when appropriate (i.e. clothing after the first Dweller camp visit, and weaponry after the reliquary) but there's no sign of this soldier outfit dealio. You're positive that I don't need to wait until I'm king/queen?
If so, then something is going wrong someplace...

Yeah, it says no gifts and I definitely don't have a soldier outfit available to wear.
