when I beat the game, its as if I didn't?

Here's the deal, whenever I beat the game (this is for fable: the lost chapters) and I do the final battle with jack, and I beat him and throw the mask/dont throw the mask, all that stuff and I watch the credits completely, instead of starting back in oakvale or wherever you start back in once you complete the game, I instead start back at briar rose who tells me I have to get my mothers soul (or alternatively kill her, which is what I usually do considering I cant GET my mothers soul even after killing all the banshees).

Is there something wrong with my game or am I doing something incredibly retarded? its driving me bonkers because this has happened twice whenever I have beaten the game.

I believe there may be a glitch in the game my friend, do you own it for PC or Xbox?

pc, I just tried beating it a third time and after I defeated dragon jack, i ended up outside of the building you fight him in, yet I was able to go back inside and briar rose still told me I needed scarlets soul.

I think I read somewhere that if you did a hero save before the mission, it tends to mess it up, and while I do have hero saves, and that could be a problem, I dont see how it would be.

also: on the one time when I didnt throw his mask into the fire and I still had it, it wouldn't let me put it on or anything, If I remember correctly the only thing I could do was mount it on my wall.

Im afraid you have the hero save bug load up an earlier save and continue im sorry mate

all of my saved games are corrupted and now I have to start over D:

Whats a way I can avoid this in the future? just not save at all and use autosave or what? (im talking about avoiding the hero save bug)

im not all that familiar with the glitch but i would say if it has to do with hero saving than dont just use world save and autosave (i apologize if this doesnt help)

that happened to me once. its a glitch. not sure what causes it. sept i kept playing and i really messed up that file. ha ha, briar was dead, but alive. i threw away the mask, yet i had it! briar is telling me to get my moms soul, but the guildmaster is already dead?!?!? very trippy stuff. i may have exadgerated a bit there, but you get the point. it was a long time ago though. not aware of any way to fix it. your gonna have to start a new file.

Just use world save instead of hero save bud, that should fix the glitch
