From what I know it depends on which books/how many you give to the teacher at the school. Sometimes he will say do you think this is appropriate for the children or something like that and from what I know saying yes to all those will get the dark hat and the light you get when you just donate books. Though it could also be alignment based as well. Sorry I couldnt be of any more help...

It does depend on what books you give and I have made a little list to help get started:
The Arena
Dragons
Creatures of Albion 1, 2 & 3
The Old Kingdom
The Pale Balverine
Making Friends
Just a starting list, these can either be found at the Heroes Guild or Bowerstone.

from what ive experinced...it all depends on the books...but if you want the dark wizard hat you have to gather evil books and just evil books so its kinda stressful but i think the look is all worth it...ill go on some sites and look at which books ya need for the dark hat...because the teacher randomly picks out a book from your collection...and if you have one good or neutral book it kinda screws you...like i said stressful but worth it cause you look badarse in it

The hat you ge, as I belive it to be is soley dependant on what book you give to the teacher first. If you give him any book from the guild you get a white hat, any bad book (sock method etc.) then you get the dark hat. Also it could be that if you give any good books at all you cannot get the dark hat. Not so sure bout that last part. Hope it helps

If you're talkin about the book quest then yes just give him good books and you must have a good alignment

Well Minky, you have to go to -bowerston south- and go to the school, wait for the teacher there and if your able to, talk to him and he should say something like they had to sell all there books because of the high taxes, then he will ask you if you would be kind enough to donate any books you have, then you have to donate 15 or so to get ether -Will Users Bright Hat- or the -Will Users Dark Hat-.....simple

the Guild Library and the dorm have all the books you need for the Bright wizard hat. I get it all the time, getting that one isn't really too difficult.
the Dark wizard hat is equally as easy. All you have to do is, look in the Guild Dorm's. stay FAR away from the library. Just get all the books you can in the dorms. go to bowerstone and get books wherever you want there, Go to the teacher and you should have a lot of evil books.
I was never able to get the hat that easy before, that's why I remembered the easy way to do it.

I pretty much figured there would be. I didn't even KNOW there was a NEUTRAL will user outfit until I found the boots in the guild shop. Stupid..stupidness..they pushed fables release...and made it poopy..

I know, HALO WARS is gone to be an amazing RTS game, but its on xbox 360 and ive only got the normal xbox :'(, but i will get it 'eventualy'.
