Who's completed halo 3 then

I haveeeeeee the best game ever such a good ended, fight finished:D

Re: Who's completed halo 3 then

As I unfortunately had the ending forcefully and violently pushed upon me I have to say... meh. For the supposed end of the series it was too much of a cliffhanger and.. well, lets leave it at that to not spoil too much.

Re: Who's completed halo 3 then

I just did, though I'm in the process of going through it again on Legendary now

Re: Who's completed halo 3 then

... who is that directed towards?

Re: Who's completed halo 3 then

I completed it and really liked the ending and the halo series kicks *** on all fronts and i know it wil be continued at some point.

Re: Who's completed halo 3 then

Haven't completed Halo 3 just yet, sadly. Then again I only managed to play the campaign for just under two hours since my cousin only brought it round for a quick game of co-op as he was in the area. As soon as my Halo 3 arrives then I'll pretty much dedicate the majority of my time to sotming through it. ^_^

The Brute Hammer is just plain awesomeness though.

Re: Who's completed halo 3 then

I have. :D

Re: Who's completed halo 3 then

me and my friends would have beat it on legendary but we couldt play 4 players on the same system so we just played multiplayer

Re: Who's completed halo 3 then

Just beat it. I'd have to say the ending is the best of the three. This one is also my favorite, I love some of those new weapons.

Re: Who's completed halo 3 then

I beat it a couple of nights ago. While I can't say the Halo series is the best series ever (there is none that can ever REALLY claim that title) and I still prefer Marathon's plot, I actually really liked the end. Especially the "twist" with the so-called final boss. My gripes:

-The early parts of the game weren't super-interesting for some reason. It felt like they decided to trim down the plot or something, which is fine for people who aren't me.

-Arbiter could've used more love, but again that got better later on.

-Lack of a major confrontation with certain people. While the "final" enemy was satisfying in a great way for me, this is one of those moments where I can safely say I would've liked boss fights or, er, something.

-Here's a gripe with the entire series, and I mean the ENTIRE series: Bungie's attempt to seperate it's canon from Marathon's canon. This is a personal gripe, but one that's always bugged me.

You see, the average person won't notice or care I'm sure, but so much of Halo references or otherwise involves Marathon, yet Bungie decided to stick them in seperate universes that have nothing to do with each other other than being very similar. I can understand their logic, but it actually feels more frustrating for some reason. That's only a personal problem, though. I think. It just sort of seems like if you're going to make a new universe, don't make it that similar to one you already made yourself and then pass it off as totally unrelated.

At any rate, I actually used to hate Halo until I realized that I only hated it because it was hyped so much. Ultimately hype or not, it shouldn't get in the way of me enjoying stuff.

Re: Who's completed halo 3 then

I really liked that ending... but I found the stuff about the Librarian more interesting :P
love this game... have to replay it several more times to get everything out of it ^_^

Re: Who's completed halo 3 then

I agree with Lupus. I would have killed to throw down a firefight with Gravemine. And though the ending was still cliffhanging a bit, it ended formidably. In fact, not to spoil much,
but you might notice the ending of the series was the same as the beginning of the series (in a sense) ;)

That was a witty move by Bungie, I must say. Though I felt the game could have had more, and it certainly for me didn't live up to its hype. I mean, the story's short, and you can't deny that. About 8 or 9 hours of story play, then you go try Legendary with you're friends (what I was doing yesterday), and then you play multi player. And while the game play is satisfying, the graphics aren't exactly next-gen for me, the story seems to have less than I expected, but the game still sells well as a online game.

Forge mode is fantastic, action packed battlefields and really fun things you can do, but I still feel as if in the end...Halo 3 is not all it was hyped up to be.

Is it my favorite game? No. Do I think it's the best game ever? Sorry, no. But it's good game. And it deserves respect for lasting this long. Because for a game that had support for all these years, and changed so many aspects of video games, it's truly a classic trilogy and should be remembered.

7 Hours. :D for me at least.
but I agree about the ending. :( disappointed the hell out of me.

Re: Who's completed halo 3 then

Bungie's God Series Isn't gonna end here. ^_^ Think of all the preteens who need to pwn noobs. lol

Anyways game play was awesome Enjoyed the ending was kinda disappointed. Bungie did a good job overall though.

I have to say, this is, IMO, The Best Game Ever. No doubt. The ending was fantastic, especially after the credits, but the Legendary ending added a little bit of confusion. It's a very short clip, but it still really screwed me up. Now I have no clue what's going to happen.
Don't read this unless you Finished The Fight on Legendary
Anyone know what the planet-thing they float by is? It looks like a Forerunner construction, but I'm not sure what happened to it. Explosion? Some kind of light rising behind? Wtf??

Halo has up to this point sorta only focused on Masterchief's role in the big war. Halo Wars will most likely expand the whole intergalactic war between humans and the Covenant a great deal, if you ask me. Perhaps even so far as to the end of the war.

Yeah Halo Wars will hopefully show you the actual scale of the war and some other points of view and standpoints to fill in some gaps etc.

Re: Who's completed halo 3 then

Yeah, I'm interested in seeing the actual scope and conclusion of the war. Especially considering that
I find it bizarre and strange that the Covenant just sort of vanish when you kill the Prophet. I think that's a bit of missed story potential.
