I agree it is an Awesome RPG, but it was a bit short though which is unusual for RPG's

As an old-school (FFVII) RPG player, this game has re-excited my desire to play RPGs. I am a FPS god in both Halo2 and BF2:MC, but I needed to switch to something new, original, and simply awesome. I am still a chicken chaser in the game, and I only stared playing it today(!), but I am already obsessed!

congrats porschephiliac on finding the obsession inside all of us at projectego.net...i love fable simple cause of all the stuff you can do inside of the game...from quests to marriage to drinking to bar games...i love this game also for how you can go from being shuned in society to being feared by all or loved by all...this game is truly great in so many ways...i cant wait tio see how fable 2 might bring out even more

Although Fable ended up MUCH shorter than i expected i really liked the combat in in mainly i love the fighting mechanics of the game and also although it isnt as free roaming as i thought you do have quite alot of freedom also.

Without a doubt Fable 2 will be longer (i would bloody well hope so!) very fun though.

It is good to meet one who has dove into the world of FF, especially Final Fantasy VII.

To say this, I trule love Fable for its great (if not short) story, great combat system, interesting characters, and wide-open world. This is truly the greatest of genre hybrids I have played. All the action and movement of an action game combined with artistic value of and RPG mix together so well in this game that all who play have to admit one thing: This is one kick-ass game.

I have heard that it is short, so I am taking my time playing it so I can experience all there is to offer. I need money though, what's the best way, other than quests, to get money? I am still in Oakvale, or the first village, and I just need some dough!

Fable didn't seem all that short to me. Maybe cuz I'm a newbie at rpgs...

The best way to get some more money aside from quests is to buy houses in various places and rent them out to people. Hang your trophies on a mantle and the rent will go up, meaning you get more money.

I like it because...Well,it involves roaming around and kill people senselessly,getting laid,i like rpg's,killing...o and did i mention killing?Anything that requires killing is VERY enjoyable!:devil: :devil:

This game would have to be my second favorite behind FFVII. Ever since FFVII came out I've been buying the FF RPGs to get that feeling again. When a game has such a story and life to it that you can feel it. Fable finally answered that calling. I actually purchased an XBOX to play Fable (and Conker's) on.
