Why does any Xbox notification (and loading chicken) always appear on the right side of the screen as opposed to the bottom? I have never seen this in any other game. Personally I think it's dumb and unnecessary. What do you guys think?

Personal preference id imagine, maybe the people at Lionhead are tall and dont like having to look at the bottom of a screen. or maybe its for more technical reasons due to a resolution compromise they were using and making sure it didnt overlap the bottom of the screen.
