why would they do that?

why would they do that?

I like the fire assassin armor just fine but its exactly like the regular assassin armor (except color). they could have gave it something cool like more stealth or something. I only complain because it says new armor on the tlc box. armor . . . . . new.. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . theres archons armor, the 2 new helms, and the stinking assassin suite. I love tlc, but come on, thats just a little weird.

I think it was just something added on to appeal to people who want to see a different sort of assassin suit, as some may not have liked the first one to begin with. I'm sure they knew some people wouldn't like it when they put it into the game, but it's only a way of adding onto something they already had... I was a little disappointed with it to begin with, though now I just look past it at the rest of the features that made Fable an awesome game to begin with.

Yah, that is true. Great game. What new weapons did they add to tlc

The "new" armor is just a different color, and most of the legendary weapons are anything but. Thanks a lot, Peter Molyneux. :realmad:

I agree. Im not angree about it though. because I recently learned to mod, and that kinda spaces the gap.

only one of the new legendary weapons was in the original... I wouldn't exactly call 25% "most"...
and Fable TLC was not meant to be Fable 2, or even Fable 1.5... it was merely meant to be the same game with a few additional features for huge fans of the original, and to entice new players to play the game...
and he does deserve thanks... they could have just left it at Fable and never released TLC at all and just made people wait until Fable 2... it's not as though anyone were forced to purchase TLC against their will... if you don't like it then stick to the original and don't buy it... it's super simple ;)

I just want Fable 2 to come out. That wasn't mean to come across as angry, I was over-exaggerating what most people felt when they played the original and then TLC.

Peter and his team are probably under a lot of stress from both the fans and the media. Any time they announce a possible feature, the news is all over it.

And then comes the fans. Many people were.... disappointed in the original Fable because he promised so much but yet he gave so little. The Lost Chapters was meant to give back some of the stuff but it was mainly items and quests.

As for me, I was expecting more interactivity with the townsfolk, being evil meant bandits didn't attack you, more morality choices, FREE ROAMING without mods. That sort of thing.

FYI: If this seems like mindless dribble, its because I just woke up^_^

I know. It's a long wait. We have to stick together but we can make it.

The armour in Fable was just a way to dress-up your Hero, to make him look cool. Armour plays a small role in reducing damage, the most comming from the "Toughness" skill.

So yeah, I don't mind it just being a re-colour of normal Assassin clothes really.

I remember when they originaly said that if you cut down a tree as a kid, it will be cut down when you grow up. I guess they side stepped that all together. oh well, I just hope Im not gunna have to buy an xbox 360 for fable 2. If i do and its kind of a letdown, Im going to be ****ed.

well... seeing as how it is currently an XBox 360 exclusive, how else were you planning to play it? O.o

thats what they said about fable 1. plus, more people own computers than xbox 360. I doubt this is sum scam to get people to buy xbox 360's so if they want to make money, they will make it for computer also. making a game exclusively for a platform that onlt about 1/4 to 1/8 of gamers own isnt very smart, or very nice. people arent going to want the game if they have to buy a xbox 360 to play it.

yes... just like Fable... they'll probably release it for PC, but not for quite a while after it comes out for 360... so if you want it when it first comes out, that's your option...
and more people might have a PC, but this is a next gen game, and not everyone who has a PC has one capable of running next gen game... that's part of the reason more and more people get the 360...
and the idea that people would buy a 360 "just for Fable 2" is just ridiculous... it's not as though Fable 2 were the only game exclusively for Xbox 360...
there's also Halo 3 and Mass Effect and a multitude of others which are also why people would be buying the console...
and it is smart... Microsoft wants to make money... you do that by promoting the console to get people to buy the game and then on PC so fans of the game will buy the PC version also when they're ready to mod... it's called doubling your money which is good business and for those who don't want to mod, they can pick up the console version, cause contrary to your beliefs, the majority of Microsoft fans do in fact own a 360 ;)

To add to that. It is VERY likely that it will be Vista Only seeing how Direct X 10 is a next gen gaming technology and Lionhead is owned by Microsoft.

that's right, I'd forgot that :cool:
while a lot of people have computers that number sinks when you look to the number of people that currently have one compatible with Vista, and even less that actually have Vista...
360 is so much simpler :lol:

vista is a vast amount less expensive then an xbox 360. there still like 500 bucks. what im getting at is, I hope they dont wait another 3 years to release it on computer like they did with halo 2.

True a home premium Upgrade is only $135 US but personally I would have to get a new video card $64-120 US and some more RAM $80-200 US that would put it at nearly the same price as the Xbox but I would have an amped PC :D I like the Xbox for the Big TV and simplicity of use
