Wii surpasses Gamecube sales!

This is official : You don't need more than a handfull of good games to sell a games console, but you only need a gimmick

I don't own one , because I can only see about 5 -6 games that are good. Maybe nintendo's next machine will be backwards compatible

Well I would hope so. the wii is practically a gamecube. ^_^ Also can buy, SNES, & Sega games and more, for less than 5 dollars per game. 10 dollars at the most. Best System I have in my house.

Well Gamecube sales werent anything groundbreaking so id expect the Wii to far surpass it.

Ok, ya got me, some of the old games still rule ,but I don't really like all of the new games. Maybe ony Smash bros melee brawl and Mario galaxy and some other ones, but where is the Bioshocks etc.

Well if I may. I didn't think the wii was anything special either, and none of the games (aside from Twilight Princess) interested me. But Thus far, the games I've gotten, I've enjoyed.

Bleach: Shattered Blade: I've never been good at any fightings games, ever. And I find much joy in kicking the crap out of people with this game. IT's great fun
Elebits: May seem like a childish game, but if you're really bored it's actually really fun.
Red Steel: Not Graphically Intense, but Still pleasing to the eye, and still HELLA challenging. A pretty good FPS.
Metroid Prime 3: I actually didn't get to play it myself. But the graphics looked amazing, and my boyfriend seemed to have fun. Game play looked great. Made me want to Give it a try.
Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles: I've been hearing a lot of good stuff about. It may be an Old-School Rail Shooter, but again game play and graphics look great. And the game looks Fun.

And so on and so forth.
