Will Fable 2 have Xbox live

If you have any rumours at all on this subject please say. I would really love to have fable 2 and be able to go online. Will you also be able to download content like you can with eldar scrolls. I really really want to play fable 2... and of course HALO 3

I don't think so, as Fable for the PC doesn't allow you to go online...

What exactly he meant was unclear, but he did say the Xbox 360's Xbox Live feature is a, "super important step." He praised the ease of interaction between friends list contacts...When asked if Fable 2 would include any compatibility with the newly announced Live Anywhere technology that encompasses PCs, mobile phones, and the Xbox 360, Molyneux didn't deny anything. "It's a great idea. It's a really good idea."

Supposively it is going to be online and also multiplayer, I saw it on G4 when the maker was getting interviewed.

Yea, I hear that Fable 2 is looking to add multiplayer, but I'm not sure how successful it will be. Some downloadable content such as Oblivion would be nice, possibly some new armor sets, some mods, perhaps even to the extent of an expansion pack or a new area. Xbox Live is revolutionizing the RPG as we know it. Without online, you worry about the replay value. If Lionhead continues to release good expansion packs, you won't need a replay value.

I admit expansion packs and downloadable content are cool. but we don't even know what content fable 2 has..so I don't see the point of talking about downloading content.

for all we know the game could have so much content that we all explode when we load the game

and like I've said before. Making games online only leaves a small percentage of people out of the loop, which doesn't seem fair.

Peter has said the the online feature is very important he just hasn't said what it is. Personally I think it will have to do with accomplishment points or what ever there called

i think that Live would be a great addition and looking at the current trend of on line games it might be vital to making Fable 2 a huge hit. now to what extent it goes is questionable. i for one dont see multiplayer becouse of the world dynamics. the world of albion changes in accord to your actions and it would get confusing with people running around burning villages, killing your wife etc.
Perhaps some sort of online arena would be possiblle pitting two heros agianst each other but without some interesting combat and differnet settings it would get kinda old.
as for expanding content im all for it. I would love to see new lands discovered with new quest and the like, sure it might not be anything all important story wise.
and i dont think they will have us paying for anything unless its a huge addition.

Yes, I saw that too. Peter M said that Fable 2 will indeed have online, but he wouldn't say how and the features of it
