Will Spells

Will plays a large role in the series through its storyline and gameplay. Fable 1 and Fable 2 had an extremely different Will system. In Fable 1, there wasn't any charging while in Fable 2 you have five levels to set. However, what I wish to discuss are the actual spells.

In Fable 1, there were spells, specifically Multi-Arrow, Multi-Strike and Enrage, that directly affected the combat of your other types. In Fable 2, however, with the exception of Time Control which was in both games, I felt that Will was isolated and not very interchangeable with the other combat styles.

Do you think that there should be more spells that enhance your other combat styles or should it stick with the traditional Physical-Magic attack isolation?

Re: Will Spells

Interesting analogy. I think maybe if they could do both I'd prefer that, because I wouldn't want my character to go extremely buff (for example) or whatever whenever I want to use a spell. I don't want it to automatically enhance my strength everytime, for example.

Re: Will Spells

I can see what you mean. I mean, I know you can already do this with augments, but I think it'd be cool to see something like a melee specialist who can fire up Will to power his weapons or something. Sort of a augment that's organic to the character rather than an augment added to the weapon.

Which could actually fit with the concept of weapon morphing, now that I think of it.

i think there should be spells you only get by being bad or good but i do like the new system

Nah... I don't agree with that... there are no good or bad spells, only good or bad ways to use them...

Now... all I can say to this subject is that I wish that they put back will system back to F3 and you can never have to many spells (as long as they are made well) :Đ

No Berserk?

I agree that the Will in Fable 2 felt somewhat constricted, I really enjoyed the different styles as in Fable TLC.

Re: Will Spells

i have a similar thought about the will spells combining with strength powers maybe the will spells you use most will also alter your weapon with the new weapon morphing system in place for instance i tend to stick to inferno in fable 2 maybe this means in fable 3 my sword will ignite or something if i do the same thing in my opinion the old weapon buff spells would be welcome back they were really useful for the boss battles
