hi i was just wondering because i didnt understand what was gonna to happen in the patch.

so when the patch is coming we all will be reset so we will have no money or items that u have won????

From what i was reading earlier (unconfirmed) but was from some users. Was that only legit earned cash would count and anything you acquired using the glitch wouldnt exist anymore.

Ive used the glitch to get out of debt on a 2 of my characters, so...that means they will somehow find out and put all my debt back? How would that work lol? Can they just find how who hit the LB button to many times and say they cheated? Unless they put the cheat in there intentionaly and tracked it, I don't think its possible that they will be able to know whos cheating, unless your really standing out on the leaderboards or somthing. When is the patch even coming out? I also doubt they will reset it, considering inventory and concept art.

i highly doubt they will reset ppl to 0... that would **** alot of ppl off and they dont want to do that and lose sales... most likely it will just fix the glitch so you cant do it anymore...

I don't think Lionhead would reset everyone's stats and unfairly punish those who didn't use the exploit.

how do they know which money is the glitched stuff thats not really possible, also you can delete patches from your xbox btw, but idk if you need to download the games b4 the patch or not

what it will do probably if you hve already downloaded it it will ask if you wat an update as you log int xbox live andof course youll say no s it will automatically sign you out of xbox live so you dont got a chioce, i forgot how to fixit once ill ask my friend and post a topic on it

now that is quite clever. oh well, not really that big of a deal anyway. its to much of a temptation to use, and using it could spoil the game. but as far as losing your money goes, i dont think it will do that. im surprised a simple bug like that got out in the first place.

i doubt theyll be able to get rid of cheated cash, as its not necesarily a 'glitch' par se, its more a shortcut through the system. basically, the computer wont be able to tell which gold is legit and which is cheated, as its not a hack or other violation of the game, just a means of bypassing it.


also, if lionhead weer clever, they'd realise that the people who actually wanted to cheat would obviously want to keep their gold, therefore theyd be pretty ****ed if they spent hours a day hoarding frick loads of cash to buy all of albion. thats my opinion.

They may be able to check what points someone has and compare that to the amount of gold. If the gold to points is of an unreasonable ratio then it would be obvious that they were using the glitch.
I thought it would be funny if they left the glitch in and if it was used too many times it would just reset your charachter.
Honestly though I'm not concerned with it either way. I've started a second character and have him (Lynch) up to 3 stars a a few thousand gold. My first (Mongo) has 90K and 60K dept

wow they thought of everything, o well Fab2 is pretty big in world size and oblivion had like 5infinity munny glitches so theres nothing to worry about, also if the economy is anything like TLC then im justgunna go out and buy some rubies

I'm pretty sure that they fixed the reselling items back to the same trader glitch for Fable II.
There will be enough ways to earn gold that we won't have to worry about it. Though it will likely take longer. Longer = More game play :thumbsup:

Man if it caused this much panic alot of people must be using it, even myself! I didn't abuse the power like some people have though. If I do lose my money it just means more fun in Fable 2, hopefully. I have 3 characters with alot of money and inventory but I don't plan on taking all the money out to spoil the game, maybe just the items. Also I have another character with alot of debt, I plan on transfering her to my hero on my 2nd or 3rd playthrough to see how it goes.
