William Pythelo and the Wizards' Locket

Yup...I decided to make a second fanfic, this story is similar to Harry Potter, only in some ways....and yes..i change the characters name...from John to William

William Pythelo
And the Wizard's Locket

1.In a Box.1

A tall shadowy figure cloaked in darkness approached a mysterious tower on a dark rainy night. As he approached, his light footsteps can barely be heard as his feet stepped upon the wet cobble stone walkway. He glanced up at the enormous tower before him. He tried his best to open the large, stone doors blocking his way into the tower. He tried, but couldn't...suddenly, he reached in to his pocket, and moved his hand around, from his pocket, he drew what seem to be a long slender piece of sturdy wood. He pointed the item at the stone doors before, him and muttered some words. Eva Kadalo.

The large doors suddenly pushed open gently, and more darkness stood before the man. He entered cautiously... The entrance was covered in darkness. Once again, he raised the item, and said a few words "Lomosla Entadem." The room then light up in a flash of light. He could see clearly now, he looked around, he saw pictures, book shelves, mirrors. He searched the room, all he found was a bunch of expensive objects. Earrings, necklaces, rings, orbs...the were useless to him....He wanted something even more valuable, and it was held on the top floor of the tower; the chapel....

The man made his way over to the first flight of stone stairs, on one side of the room. As he climbed, the sound of his feet his against the cold stone stairs echoed through out the tower, as he made his way up to the second floor. Once there, he search through what he could, boxes, chest, just to see if there was anything more valuable than the first floor to take with him. Nothing.....the same stuff as the first floor, nothing but jewelery. He headed on....he walked over to the second flight of stone stairs, and began to climb.

This time, he heard noise coming from the third floor, and he sped up his pace....He reached the third floor. Lanterns were hanging from the dripping ceiling, and old pictures fell off the walls. He heard a noise behind him, and whipped around quickly, to catch them. To his surprise, someone...or...something, was standing there in front of him...It was a short, but slender little fellow, with yellow eyes, and fangs coming up from his lower jaw. A Merklin? That shouldn't be here, they only hang around swaps ad forest...suddenly...more of the little Merklin came....there was at least a dozen of them, and they surrounded the man...

The man, wondered what they wanted here...did they want what he was looking for too? Or did they come to steal the treasures....They Merklin advanced..."Oh come one..." he said, and he waved his 'wand' and a blast of blue flame erupted from the it, in a circle, and wiped all the Merklin surrounding him....
He looked around....the Merklin were knocked out....lying down, as if they were hit by a truck....The man now knew that nothing here he would want..for Merklin normally only travel away from their homes to find usless junk for their nest...nothing of value.

He continued on, he made his way over to the third flight of stairs...and approached the forth floor slowly...He drew his wand, and leaned against the wall, being careful not to be surprised by an enemy. He glanced around the forth room from where he was..it seemed safe...He walked out into the middle of the room.
Nothing...he looked around, but didn't find anything interesting. Then as he continued to look, he found a dirty sapphire blue stone. It seemed important...he slipped it into his side pocket and continued to look, but gave up on finding anything else...

One more floor, and I'll find what I'm looking for...he thought, as he climbed the next set of stairs to the chapel. These stone steps were wider, and longer...he wondered why...He reached the top...and looked into the middle of the room...and to his surprise, a figure was there...and a bright green light shone from the stand the figure was standing over...Suddenly, the figure spun around, and backed up. He was completely cloaked, and you couldn't see one part of his face...
Then, the man realized what the figure was standing over, the item he had traveled so far to get...The item he need to get back...

The figure, then grabbed something from the stand, and leaped right out of the window...The man then ran towards the large, open window too, and peeked his head out...the figure was nowhere to be seen below...He turned back to the stand....a box, was lying on the floor, the figure must have knocked it over when he ran. He looked inside, in this box should be what he was looking for. He opened the box, slowly, carefully, and inside...was...nothing...The man was shocked..he could not get back, what about the others?...He was stuck there...hed have to travel back now...

And the Wizard's Locket

2.Normal.2

William awoke from his slumber with a jolt, he felt a hotness on his forehead, and a dryness on his lips. Once again he was having those weird dreams...For the past few nights, he has been having dreams of a shadowy figure in some sort of castle, looking for something, but he didn't know what. Today was his 11th birthday, and he was looking forward to not having any weird visions or feelings...But they always come, always, and once they come, they never leave until he falls asleep. He sat up at the edge of his bed, and went downstairs for breakfast.

As he walked down the stairs, the steps creaked beneath his feet, and he could smell the scent of fried ham, and eggs, as he approached the kitchen. He stepped into the kitchen in his red and gold colored pajamas and slippers, and walked over to the sink to wash his hands to get ready for breakfast. His mother and father both looked up at him from the table and and his mom said "Hello, sit down and have a bite." He nodded, and sat down at the end of the wooden kitchen table. "So.." his father started "Have a good nights sleep son?" William looked up from his plate and replied " Yeah, sorta...I keep having these weird dreams, monsters and stuff." His mother smiled, Will had always pretended to be a wizard or knight...when most kids pretended to be cowboys and Indians...

Once William had finished his breakfast, which was great since his mom is an amazing cook, he walked back up the wooden stair case, and then entered his room to start getting ready for his morning shower. He then took off his pajamas, and walked to the bathroom in a towel. Before going in the shower, he went to the bathroom, and washed his hands. Then he turned on the hot water, and stepped in. The hot water felt great, he was hot and sweaty from sleeping, especially from those dreams. He shampooed and conditioned his hair, and used the body wash. He felt great afterwards.

He walked back into his room, and there, he changed into clean clothes. He sported a pair of baggy, faded, blue jeans, a black T-shirt, and his new shoes.
He then checked himself out in the mirror, and decided he looked descent. So, with that, he walked back downstairs to the kitchen, and gave his parents a goodbye. He was heading over to his friends house, Jason, he lived down the street, and he and Jason had been friends since the were both only 2 years of age. He approached Jason's house and walked up to the front door...He knocked, no answer. He knocked again, and again, there was no answer.

That was strange, Jason had told him he'd be home, and told him to come by in the morning. He decided it wasn't such as big deal, and headed back home. The walk back home was tiring it was very hot out today...even though he was walking, he felt like he ran a triathlon. He walked back into his house, glad to be in the AC once more. He told his parents " Jason isn't home, now what?" They thought this over in a few seconds, and they decided they'll go to his godfather's for a surprise visit. He never really knew his godfather, but his dad spoke highly of him.

Within an hour or so, they all had a few things packed for the week, phones, games, clothes, drinks, everything. They all then hopped in his dads Ford pickup and drove west, to his godfather manor...They drove on...and on..it seemed like forever. Will even slept a bit, an he even finished a whole game before they reached his godfather's place. When they finally arrived, Will got out of the car, stretched, and leaned up against a nearby tree. His father and mother got out of the hot car as well, and they all walked up to the front door of the large house before them...

His father raised his hand and knocked loudly on the large, broad doors of the manor. They heard footsteps inside, and the doors suddenly opened. Standing there, was a tall, rugged but handsome man. He stared at Will, his mother and then his father, he then sprang forward and gave his father a hug. "Its so good to see you, my friend" his godfather said happily, and his father replied with a "You too." They entered the manor...Will looked around. The place was huge, the ceiling had to be fifteen feet high. Within a hour or so, they had all their things unpacked and up in their separate rooms.

At 8:00 or so, his godfather, who asked them to call him Lupus, had made dinner for the lot of them. Will had to admit, it was a good dinner, ham, turkey, mash potatoes, corn, the works! After dinner, they all sat by the fire in the common room, and later that night, the all went back up to bed...the next day would be even better...

William Pythelo
And the Wizard's Locket

3.Recovered Secrets.3

William awoke once again for the fifth time or so during the night, for some reason, he keeps having a feeling as if something big is about to happen. He looked over at his alarm clock on the side table next to his bed, it read 3:30. "Damn"He said "Oh well, might as well go back to sleep, if i can" he said to himself.and, just as he was about to fall asleep once more he suddenly he heard a noise coming from downstairs. He wondered what it could be, he heard another noise, and this time, it sounded like his godfather's voice.Curious, he slid into his red slippers, and threw on his bed robe, and he headed towards his bedroom door.

He walked down the upstairs hallway, and he now heard, two voices, getting louder as he approached the stairs. He reached the top of the stairs, and peered down through the darkness. To the right, he saw a dim light, and shadows wisping around. The boards creaked as he stepped carefully down the wooden stairs trying not to make much noise. He finally stepped down from the last step, and tip toed slowly over to the room where the light was coming from. The voices where louder now, "Look" he heard "Hes my godson, he CAN'T know! Just think of what he'll say, for all we know, he might not be one at all!"

That was defiantly his godfather speaking, next, he heard a lighter, more fragile voice. "He MUST know, its for his own good! We just can't let him believe that staying with his foster parents is what hes meant to do!" There was a pause...."Wait...You DID tell him he was adopted. Right?" the voice asked. Will thought...adopted? How can he....be....no....it wasn't true...he can't be...He suddenly cleared his thoughts and paid attention once more. He heard his godfather,"Well, umm, you see, last night went fairly well, but i never got to it...." The next voice rose again. This time louder, and more commadning.

"You didn't tell him? If so, you MUST tell him today..." it said, "everything". There was a sudden pop, he noticed one figure had vanished, and his godfather stood there, and said" Alright my lord". William then walked into the room where his godfather was standing, and his godfather turned around and jumped. "Sorry" William said. "Its alright Will" he replied. "So.where you there the whole time? What did you hear?"....William hesitated "Um, the only part I heard was about me being....um...adopted?" His godfather looked stern, "Is that all?" "Yes" William replied, he felt nervous about this, but he told himself its fine.

"Well William, it seems you believe this...So....I'll talked to your later today about it, meet me in my quarters." His godfather told him. He then sent Will back to bed with a glass of water, and a couple cookies. Will walked back up the wooden stair case and once again the floorboards creaked beneath his feet, as he made his way back to the stairs. He was just about to pass his parents room, and then stopped. He thought...they never told me....all these years and they never told me they were my foster parents....having that thought, he stumbled back to his room, and fell on his bed. He slept peacefully for the rest of the night.

William awoke once more, and yawned, he remembered what happened earlier that morning, and did as he was told. He got fully dressed, went to the bathroom, cleaned up, and headed downstairs to see his godfather. As he walked around downstairs, he felt as if he was being watched. "William" he heard from behind. He spun around, and his godfather, Lupus, was standing there, "Come with me, we have a lot to talk about" William followed Lupus into his 'quarters' which was a large room, with a sofa, a desk, a few chairs, a fire place, and two windows...His godfather looked at him. "So William, are you ready for the truth?"

William sat down in front of Lupus, and he felt warm...welcome...His godfather began, he told Will of how his parents, Thomas and Jane Pythelo, died in a great war...but not just any old great war...he told him of the war of the powers, a war between tow opposing sides, obviously, good, and evil. He told him of how his parents were captured, and then murdered later the same week. It was tragic, he told him of how back then, and still today, gryphons fly all over the world, but never seen, for they are above and IN the clouds. He continued on...and....a few minuets later....William asked "Where are you getting at?" His godfather replied.

"Its hard to believe at first Will...but....down be frightened..Your a wizard William."
Will stopped for a second...he couldn't believe what he was hearing....he thought his godfather was going mad...he stared " WHAT? Thats insane...I can't be...a...a wizard....I'm William....just William.....Are you sure?" "Positive" Lupus replied...William shifted in his chair a bit, he was uncomfortable. "Face it Will, you are...whether you believe it or not...your a wizard....If you don't believe me...then I'll need to persuade you." Lupus said.
