So, I don't know how long its been around, or how many know about it, but there is a windows 8 consumer demo out, I am trying it out right now, here is my opinion:
It's pretty sweet, so far, I mean, its a demo, so of coarse there are glitches, but nothing horrible so far, just little things. to me it is like they combined xbox 360, windows 7, and windows phone software's into one, and it has by far increased xbox 360 support.

Here is a vid or two:

Pros (so far):
Increased Xbox 360 support

Cool new start menu

tons of new features

faster (as far as I can tell so far)

easier to use and organize

imports all your old files, settings, and programs so you dont have to reinstall or redo anything.

Cons (so far):
Glitchy due to it being a demo

not all of the features are available due to it being a demo, most are

sometimes apps crash, sometimes they don't, it has been random for me so far

sometimes internet based apps will not connect, again, seemingly random

only noticed this on Firefox so far, but some of the colors can be a bit messed up in some programs, not enough to really get in the way or be aggravating though. like for example, right now the create thread button is fused with the link button picture.

So what do you guys think about it after watching the videos and/or trying it? Dont worry, the menu the vids start on and kinda focus on is onyl the start menu, there is still a normal desktop and normal programs and stuff.

Windows 8 is not meant to be used on classic desktop computers, however on touch screen devices and tablets, perhaps laptop computers too. Although, I am going to skip this release of Windows personally, since it has too many online features for my taste and it is way too much different from the current Windows feeling.

Saw it like a few months back and I hate it.
And that's why:

Has too much of an Apple/touchscreen feel to it for my tastes.
