Windows Movie Maker Question

I've been trying to make cycling userbars, and I used Windows Movie Maker, but I don't know how to convert the finished image to a suitable format to upload to an image hosting site. Any ideas?

Re: Windows Movie Maker Question

I don't know if movie maker can even save things as .gif files. I've always used Animation Shop pro. I got it a long while back so it was free. It costs money now. Hmm..Maybe you could try a video converter, that converts WMV to .GIF files

Re: Windows Movie Maker Question

Thats a good idea but im sure theres are other, free, animating programs. I'll post a link if i can find one.

EDIT: I think this should be fine for animating userbars, im not sure about more advanced stuff though.

EDIT2: This is a list of animating programs, some are free trails, but most are free.

Re: Windows Movie Maker Question

You mean cycle userbars? You can do that in GIMP. Just open first userbar, then open the next as layer, and keep doing that until all are open. Then hit Save As and save it as .gif. It will ask if you want to flatten, choose save as animation. Then when the next screen comes up change 100 to 1500

Re: Windows Movie Maker Question

As far as I'm aware, Windows Movie Maker is exclusively for making movies and is incapable of saving animated files that are supported by the forum. If you have $600 spare lying around then I'd recommend investing in Adobe Photoshop CS3 - easily the best graphics manipulating software available to date. Alternatively you could go ahead and check out GIMP as HodgePodge suggested which is totally free. Your choice. ^_^

Re: Windows Movie Maker Question

thanks everyone...I got GIMP and it's way better than Paint.net(the program I was using before), plus I can animate with it :w00t:
